In January 2021, the U. S. Department of Agriculture issued its final rule for hemp production, which is scheduled to go into effect March 22, 2021. Industry advocate and attorney, Rod Kight, discusses what the final rule means to the CBD industry, including two key points: the THC limit for hemp remaining at 0.3%, and hemp must still be tested for THC potency at DEA-certified labs by Dec. 31, 2022.
